My background
Born with an artistic temperament and a love of the unknown, and becoming a single parent in my twenties, I learned to maintain and develop my passion while doing the laundry and making a living. I believe these experiences are reflected in my work, which is both expansive and pragmatic. I have spent the last 14 years learning and practicing alternative approaches to growth and development. A significant part of my life is guided by my passion to deeply understand human experience and to support individuals in their personal work. I was drawn to this field through an instinctive tug that enticed me to take home books on psychology and religion from the library when I was still in my early teens, encouraged me to study bodywork in my early twenties, and continued to lure me through my doctoral degree. I have a Ph.D. in psychology. I have intensive training in group process. I have studied coaching through The Coaching Alliance and have effectively pursued my path as an entrepreneur.
