Life Coaching
My life coaching clients are at their core intelligent, creative, innovative, and motivated. They care about the quality of their work and the quality of thier lives. They seek growth and are unhappy if they do not live a life full of passion that leaves the world a better place from their efforts
Sometimes because of their life experiences these individuals feel that there is more to them than they have yet lived but don't know how to access it, they may have had experiences of being misunderstood and feel mistrusting of their life and their abilities, or they may feel negatively about themselves because they have such great ideas but never seem to be able to follow through on them. My coaching skills are particularly effective in working with these people and their challenges.
Sometimes these individuals have started to do what they dream of doing but they wish for an ally who can understand them, stand by their side as they strive for their dreams, and offer essential support and tools. This is what I provide.
My clients are:
•Individuals who are feeling like there is more to them than they are living or are desiring a more joyful and passionate life.
•Idealists who are seeking more fulfillment from their daily lives or more success creating their ideals.
•Leaders who are looking for innovative methods, a deeper understanding of group dynamics, or a partner in their envisioning process.
•Artists who are desiring to be more creative, deepen their understanding of their creative process, or be more successful.
•Entrepreneurs who are starting up a value driven or passion driven business.
•Visionaries who are see potential everwhere but are not sure how to make it happen.

What is the process of coaching?
Coaching sessions can take place either in my office or over the phone. The initial session is used to determine the central issue(s) you would like to focus on Coaching clients are expected to come to each subsequent session prepared. This means you will have spent some time thinking what it is that you would like to work on that day. This ensures that you get the maximum benefit from your sessions. During the session, expect me to listen deeply and intently to what you are saying, how you are saying it, and what you are not saying. I will offer reflections and questions to support and challenge you. I will offer my knowledge and experience, new concepts, or tools when they seem appropriate and provide you with support and encouragement, as you pursue your goals. Coaching sessions end with a list of one or more activities that are to be accomplished in the time between sessions.
How long does the process of coaching last?
The coaching packages are designed to last one month. My recommendation is that clients make a personal commitment to themselves for at least 3 months of coaching. Coaching clients frequently choose to continue for 6 months to 2 years, because of the benefits they realize in their lives. However, the amount of time spent in the coaching process is up to each individual client.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
In therapy there is often an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment, sessions are often process-oriented, and the focus is on the past and how the past influences the present. The emphasis of therapy is reducing the client's symptoms. In coaching, the coach works directly with the client’s goals, it is results-oriented, and future-focused. The client has already achieved the level of understanding of his or her symptoms sought in therapy and would like to move to a higher functioning level, achieve excellence, or create an extraordinary life.
